Robinson Auto Caster - Right Side
Auto Caster: Release Button
This pic shows the line going over the release button.
Before casting your line, tighten the brake so the line will not unwind
With the rod over your shoulder, place the line over the button and open the bail arm
Cast your rod in the normal way, the Auto Caster will trip, allowing the button to swing open, thus releasing the line
To cast back to the same spot, place your feet in the same position as last ime, and cast in the same fashion

Auto Caster: Release Adjustment
This pic shows the swinging weight
To set it up for your first cast, set the pointer at about 60 degrees towards the Rod
Tighten the adjusting screw and cast as per above
If your cast is too short (release too late) re-adjust the pointer slightly towards the middle giving an earlier release
If too High (release too soon) adjust the pointer away from the center of the disc
The unit is normally set for your style within 2 or three tries
To use on an opposite handed reel, simply put the unit on the rod the other way around
